Zampa Beach, Okinawa Japan

North on Highway 6 is Zampa Beach, another top notch Okinawa beach destination for families looking to get in the water and escape some of the Okinawa heat especially in the summer season. This beach features soft sand, a roped-off swimming area, and calm waters.

Not far off shore there are anchored rafts that kids love swimming out to. This Okinawa beach also has floats umbrellas and beach chairs for rent. For the more active beach types you can burn off some energy at the volleyball net or try some of the water sports, including banana boats and water tricycles. There is also a Beach House with such amenities as a snack bar, a changing room, lockers, and showers (available for a small fee).
