Yomitan Pottery Village (Yachimun no Sato)

In the Okinawa language Yachimun means pottery and Yomitan Okinawa is famous for its pottery. At the Yomitan Pottery Village local craftsmen own and manage their own workshops, spending their days toiling away making beautiful traditional and modern works of Okinawan art.
