Sunset Beach, Mihama Chatan Okinawa

After some serious shopping in American Village in Mihama Okinawa, take a walk down to Sunset Beach, just down from the Mihama Cineplex. This man-made, sandy beach is situated at the foot of a giant windmill. As the name implies this is a one of the most spectacular beaches in Okinawa to catch the setting sun. The water is quite shallow and calm, perfect for just getting your feet wet or taking little ones for a safe dip.
