One of the rare beaches in the south part of Okinawa Mibaru beach near Nanjo city offers up a immaculate 2 km stretch of beach. If you are a marine sport enthusiast this is a good beach for sea kayaking, wind surfing, parasailing and other such types of water excitement. For a more low key day at Mibaru beach just taking a walk along the beach shops, digging for clams or taking a glass bottom boat ride are all great options.
