Your favorite sushi restaurant in Japan?

 I am starting a list of the BEST sushi restaurants in Japan.

I will start with mine in Okinawa, it has to be Ichi Ban Tei (hope I spelled that right).....the only problem is that they are always packed full of people! If you get the chance, order their Salmon Cheese--perfect for the gaijin (like me).  (*-*)

My favorite sushi restaurant

I went to Sushi Restaurant in Tokyo with my friends few days ago.

This Sushi Restaurant is called Sushitsune.

It is located in Omori Station building and there was a lined up to get in.

We had sushi at the counter seat and 5-6 Sushi chefs were behind the counter and

taking order and entertaining customers.

Most Sushi were about 260yen for 2 pieaces and all fish were so fresh.

One sushi chef pick a fresh live fish out from the big fish tank and cut it in front of the customers.

It was really entertaining and I would be happy to go back there.

 

SUSHI in Gifu

Ummmm, Salmon and cheese. Sounds really good

Few years ago, my friend in Gifu took me to Hatsuzushi.

It is in Hashima City, middle of rice field but really nice country side area.

My favorite was ANAGO. It's an eel but lives in the ocean.

Well  I still dream of it sometime.

It just melt in your mouth. Ummmm that was good.

If you never tried eel, you gotta try this!
