South Okinawa beaches

I have been thinking about visiting Okinawa for quiet sometime now but i would like to know some more about where the best attractions are. Going to the beach is one of my favourite things to do and i have heard many good things about the beaches in Okinawa. What is the best beach you would recommend in South Okinawa?

Kumejima Island

Hello Harry.

If you have extra day in Okinawa, try Kumejima Island.
There are many beautiful beaches in that island.
It will take about an hour by airplane from Naha airport.

I have been to Hateno Hama and it was fantastic!!!

It's worth visitting.

Mibaru Beach

Hey Harry
i would recommend going to Mibaru Beach in Nanjo Okinawa. Ive been there several times and its one of my favourite beaches to go to. Its the perfect beach if your like water activities or you could walk along the beach and visit all the beach shops !:)

Sorry Sally but i would have to disagree.
Personally i beleive that Nashiro beach is the best southern beach to visit in Okinawa. I take my family camping there a couple times a year. Its a great beach to bring your family too, you can rent out BBQ's and its only a 40min drive from the Naha airport!
