Ryukyu Kaiensai Fireworks Festival

Okinawa's the only place in Japan where you can find fireworks on the beach in middle of April. Ryukyu Kaiensai is Japan’s earliest Hanabi (fireworks) festival. Over 9,000 colorful and exciting fireworks brighten the night sky of the southern island causing a magnificent scene reflecting in the clear ocean water. All of this takes places choreographed to music.
