Oku Yanbaru Carp Festival traditional japanese events

During the three days, the Oku Yanbaru Carp Festival many events take place to celebrate Japan’s national holiday know as “Children’s Day”.

These days more than 500 of these carp shaped symbols can be seen flapping in the wind during this Northern Okinawa festival.
