Ginowan Wheelchair Marathon

The Ginowan Wheelchair Marathon is organized to allow both physically challenged athletes and those that are not to participate together i.e. able-bodied folks can also compete in wheelchairs.

The full names of participants are called out in encouragement to help the athletes give their best. Participants have 3 categories to choose from (1.5 km trim marathon, 5 km, and half marathon). All events take place on a relatively flat course allowing wheelchairs to glide with ease.
