The warm ocean current known as the Kuroshio Current, originating from South East Asia, flows past the coral reefs off the coast of Kunigami Village. This area has pristine SCUBA diving conditions where divers and snorkel’s can observe more types of coral than the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
