Japanese Spiny Lobster Season in Miyako Island

 Ise-Ebi, known as Japanese spiny lobsters(Panulirus Japonicus) are in season in Miyako Island!
Ise Ebi lobsters are popular idem in high-class Japanese cuisine. It's usually served as sashimi, BBQ, frying and roasting alive.

Mie and Chiba prefecture are account for most percentage of the domestic catch but usually their season start in late August.
But in Miyakojima Island you can enjoy this yummy lobster in most restaurants.

Price are of course not as reasonable but some restaurants offers Ise Ebi Teisyoku (Dinner box/lunch box) around 2,000yen and if you want to try this delicacy you gotta try this.
