Camping on Okinawa should be an unforgettable experience.  Okinawa has the perfect climate for camping all year around.  Fun for all members of the family, camping can be a great way to get the children outside learning about nature and still easy on your pocket book.

Here is a list of local camp sites that vary in facilities offered so you can choose how natural you and your family would like to go.

Kunigami Village

Facilities: Restroom, Kitchen, Bungalow (additional cost), and Sports Facilities

Hiji Camp Site

Enterance Fee: 200 yen

Fee: 2,000 yen for a camp square

       1,000 yen for a tent per night

Nago City

Ikoi no Mura Okinawa

Fee: 1,500 yen for a camp square (for 4 ~ 5 people)

Rental: 1,000 yen for a tent per night

           500 yen for a BBQ set per night

Facilities: Restroom, Shower, Kitchen, and Sports Facilities

Bungalow: 15,000 yen for Log House A (for 6 people)

                10,000 yen for Log House B (for 4 people)

Nakijin Village

Oppa Dake Camp Site

Enterance Fee: 500 yen for one person a night

Rental: 2,000 yen for a tent (for 5 people)

*Bring your own kitchen utencils

Facility: Restroom, Shower, and Kitchen

Bungalow: 15,000 yen for a house for 10 people

                10,000 yen for a house for 5 people

* Bring your sleeping Bag

*There is no kitchen in the bungalow.

*Open Hours: 13:00 - 12:00 next day

Onna Village

Okinawa Prefecture Kenmin no Mori

Enterance Fee: Free

Fee: 500 yen for a camp square

       250 yen for not staying a night

Rental: 1,050 yen for a tent per night

Facilities: Restroom, Shower, Tennis Court, Bicycle, and other sports gears

*Open Season: April 1st ~ November 30th

*The park is open all year around for day-trip visitors

*Closed every Monday, New Year's Eve, and New Year Day

Okinawa City

Athletic Park Auto Camp Site (Undou Kouen)

Fee: 1,320 yen for a camp square (limited to less than 10 people) for day-trip visitors.

       2,640 yen for a night.

       5,280 yen for two nights

Facilities: Shower (100 yen for 3 min.), Kitchen, and Pool in the athletic park

*Use cassette burner or the camp kitchen for cooking

*Bring your own tent and BBQ set

Gate Open Hours: 9:00 ~ 21:00

*Going in or out the camp after the Gate Open Hours is prohibited

*Need Reservation (Call between 9:00 ~ 17:00)

*Closed every Tuesday
