Beautiful Sesoko Beach

 Look at this!  This natural powder white sand beach and the clarity of water here are just a few of the reasons that Sesoko beach is one of the top-ranked beaches on the Main Island of Okinawa. With water so crystal clear that you can see the beautiful white sand on the bottom, it’s not hard to tell why Sesoko beach is the most popular beach in Japan for photographers to do shoots with swimsuit models there.  

Yes, Sesoko Beach is beautiful!! And easy to find, just on the left of the Sesoko Island right after crossing the Sesoko Ohashi from the Motobu Peninsula.  

It used to be just the local people coming and having a relaxing time.  But now it is one of the most popular beaches this year being one of the most crowded with mix of tourists and local people.  

Sesoko beach boast many kinds of tropical fish in the area that attract snorkelers and underwater photographers.  Of course, you can enjoy marine sports like jet ski and banana boating as well.

(Oops! I’m sorry my finger is in such a beautiful scenery.) 

There is a pay parking lot (\1,000 per once).  There is another parking lot by using space of a construction site (?) and this is free. 

The beach has parlors, shower & changing rooms, rental shops.  Before you go to the beach, you can stop by a super market called MAX VALUE to get almost everything you need to enjoy the beach.  

The swimming period for the Sesoko Beach is from April 1 to October 31.  
The summer in Okinawa is very long, isn’t it?  

This summer you still have a chance to have a lot of fun at the beautiful Okinawan beach.  It is on the way to Churaumi Aquarium and Nakijin Castle Site.
